Welcome to MOTO//CUT 2026!
As we enter our inaugural year, MOTO//CUT marks the beginning of something new. This competition calls on video editors from across the globe to capture virtual motocross through their own lens.
This is a stage for creators ready to step into the spotlight and carve their name into the MX Bikes creative scene. Our judges are anticipating a wave of bold ideas, refined edits, and uncompromising vision.
MOTO//CUT is not a standard contest. We expect originality and intent. Fresh content only, no recycled footage. Every submission should be current, purposeful, and pushed to its limit. If you’re here to win, bring your strongest work. This is where the best rise.
THE // Criteria
THE // Process
Step 1 // Review & Selection
All submissions will be reviewed by SO CALLED Designs after the final submission deadline. From there, entries will be narrowed down to the Top 10 semi-finalists.
Step 2 // Live Judging
Once the stream date is set, the final judging phase begins live on the SO CALLED Designs YouTube channel. Judges will watch each semi-finalist edit in full before a short deliberation to determine the Top 5 finalists. Each finalist edit will then be rewatched in a randomized order and scored based on the judging criteria. Scorecards will be submitted and votes tallied to determine the final results.
Step 3 // Winner Announcement
The winners will be announced live on stream, starting with the overall champion, followed by runners-up and the Creativity Awards recipients. This contest exists to spotlight the highest level of talent in the scene, making the Top 10 means you’re already among the best.
